Michael Savage has been off the air for a few weeks. Even though I strongly disagree with his hard-core authoritarian mindset, his being blindly, subserviently and obediently “pro-police and military” that he is, and with his warmongering etc., I couldn’t help but listen to him. Well, now it appears that he is returning to the radio airwaves via a different syndicator. However, his show will be starting in the evenings at 9 PM on the east coast. Oh, well. That’s just a little late for me.
Boston talk radio has gone down hill since the days of Jerry Williams and David Brudnoy, alas. In the evenings now WRKO replaced Savage with Mark Levin. That is why I’ve been listening to the audio broadcast of the MacNeil-Lehrer Newshour (sans MacNeil) on WGBH radio, or WBZ news radio followed by Dan Rea’s talk show on WBZ. Rea is okay, I suppose.
And on the FM commercial talk station there is this biased news show host Michael Castner on the Wall Street Journal show “Daily Wrap.” Just the other day, Castner did a story on the presidential candidates from the Republican primaries, and detailed all their campaign debts. He listed them one by one, and I was sure that he was going to mention Ron Paul’s campaign surplus. But I guess that was too much to ask. I guess if he were consistent in that news story, he would have mentioned Dr. Paul’s efficient campaign management, as opposed to the irresponsible, debt-ridden statists. Oh, well.
