JG Vibes has this article on Strike the Root, The State Is a Firing Squad. Well, I’m not sure about the analogy, but JG also admits that such an analogy might not work exactly. Vibes refers to all the individual participants of the large governmental apparatus that fires into us the many State bullets that are stifling us, persecuting and imprisoning us to a life of dependence and oppression at the hands of what I would call the lowest common denominator. Vibes says, like the firing squad in which no one knows for sure whose gun has the bullet that kills the State’s latest victim, the process of all the State’s doings, carried out by all the individual “workers” for the State’s violence, “(disperses) responsibility throughout a collectivized group, in order to downgrade the burden of guilt in the minds of those individuals who are carrying out acts that they know in their hearts are wrong.”
And I thought a comment in the comments section by Paul was interesting:
“What if, rather than automatically complying with laws and regulations, citizens simply ignored them and waited for the threat that must follow, and then complied? If nothing else, it forces the bureaucrat to actually issue the threat and face up to the violence he is involved in. It would also slow down the machinery in general, and since so much of it is barely on the edge of functional, might push it over the edge.”

The FBI has once again foiled a “terrorist plot” in Washington that the FBI itself started and motivated the dumb cluck to want to commit terrorist acts against others. You see, the FBI wants Americans to believe that they are preventing or saving Americans from terrorist attacks. But in reality, it is the FBI that is causing these attempts from the beginning, in which such acts wouldn’t even have been started in the first place had the FBI not started them. The FBI also needs to justify its bloated government-monopoly budget, funded by wealth stolen from the actual producers and workers of America.
The FBI is just a part of the overall central planning security monopoly bureaucracy, that has done nothing but make Americans less secure and less safe because of it. The reasons central planning doesn’t work in this regard, and why allowing some people to monopolize an entire field also doesn’t work, are that monopolists are not accountable, and central planners lack information that is necessary to make appropriate decisions in their actions.
Monopolists who are not working on an open market in their field do not have competitive incentives that motivate them to actually serve their consumers. Monopolists of law and order, from local police to the FBI and the federal Department of “Defense,” are even worse because they are given the powers of “authority” over the rest of us and are allowed to be above the law. These monopolists are allowed to commit crimes against others, of theft, trespass, aggression and fraud, and get away with it.
One of these days, we will have more people understanding what I’m talking about. I guess you actually have to step back and objectively examine the current status quo apparatus of what rules over us, and you will see right before your very eyes how inherently flawed and criminal it is, and that is because of human nature, and because of economics and because of basic logic. Once a society gives some people the status of legally-protected monopoly of “authority” over others, permitting them to commit acts of aggression against others, allowing some people to be above the law, then you have a society of lawless rulers, of official lawbreakers and, frankly, criminals ruling over the rest of the population.
And the more centralized the system is, the more oppressive it is, because the more centralized the society is the more power you are giving the fewest people over the masses. Such a plan is destined to become totalitarian. And that is what we have here in the good ol’ USSA Amerika. (More here, here, here, here, here, here and here.)

Jacob Hornberger asked recently, Who Won World War II? Well, it certainly wasn’t Europe. And it wasn’t Americans either. FDR lured the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor as an excuse to drag the U.S. into World War II, because his real intention was, in my opinion, to take over Europe. Maybe he didn’t take over Europe in the sense of conquest. But FDR caused Europe, at least Western Europe, to become dependent on the U.S. government for handouts, as well as for its security (such as it was).
Causing those Europeans to become dependent on the U.S. government (and on U.S. workers and producers, i.e. “taxpayers,”) for their daily sustenance and their security has only discouraged them to provide for themselves and protect themselves from foreign aggressors. Europeans are now extremely vulnerable, as well as living under massive debts. Europeans are slaves of their corrupt governments’ politicians and bureaucrats who are in cahoots with America’s own corrupt politicians and bureaucrats. All thanks to FDR.
The proof I have to show that FDR was motivated to take over Europe in this way and make Europeans dependent on FDR’s government is that FDR forced his own people to be dependent on the government, to be slaves of the politicians and bureaucrats who rule over us. FDR implemented many government mandates and policies, including forcing all Americans to have to participate in the one government-run retirement scheme known as the Social Security fraud.
Who won World War II? Power-hungry and greedy politicians and bureaucrats, lawyers and lobbyists, that’s who. (Here is more on FDR, more on the New Deal, more on Social Security, and more on the causes and consequences of WW II.
