I heard the “Republican Response” this morning on the radio, given by Kay Bailout Hutchuson. In an endless blather of incoherent ramblings, Ms. Bailout went on and on and on and on, it seemed like hours, and she said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! That is because there was nothing for her to say, and she knows it.

She might as well have said, “We communist Republicans are just as bad as the communist Democrats, in our government expansionism, our warmongering and senseless militarism, our selfishly continuing to raise the debt ceiling and robbing your grandchildren and our spending like drunken sailors.” That is really what she ought to be saying. No wonder Ms. Bailout lost in her bid for governor of Texas in 2010, losing the nomination to Rick “Merck” Perry, who himself probably would’ve lost to Debra Medina had Glenn Beck not smeared Medina as a “truther.”

(Pssst. I think Glenn Beck is running for President. Of Israel.)

It is sad that the U.S. government has been harassing a respectable guitar manufacturer, the Gibson Guitar Company, for no good reason. They have no case, after stealing goods and materials from the Gibson plant and costing them thousands of dollars in legal fees, so far. And no one has been charged with anything. I’d like to know what particular goods or services or products Obama or Eric Holster has ever produced that was ever of actual value to others who were willing to voluntarily spend their hard-earned money to get.

Here is what Gibson’s Henry Juszkiewicz should do, and what every victim of the U.S. government’s criminality should do: Bring criminal charges against the actual people who initiated these actions against them, for theft of their goods, harassment, criminal mischief, etc. If more innocent victims of Nazi bureaucrats turned the tables on the true criminals in these cases, you bet these damn bureaucrats would think twice about initiating “investigations,” and sending S.W.A.T. teams to harass and threaten innocent people.

The group Americans Elect has achieved ballot access for North Carolina to get a third party ticket on the ballot for President this November. Formal certification is set for early March. But, as I said in my article (and many other times) on rearranging the deck chairs, it doesn’t matter who wins the election, because the whole system of compulsory central planning monopoly is inherently flawed and is doomed to crash and burn. It is impossible to reform such a system. It’s just impossible (as Perry Como would say).  Any attempts at reform will merely be more kicking the can down the road.

The Anti-Federalists were right.
