*Barack Obama is apologizing to Afghanistan and Hamid Karzai for burning the Koran. But has he apologized for the thousands of innocent civilians his military and CIA drones have murdered, in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere?
*Bradley Manning is being arraigned on charges of “aiding the enemy.” He is an alleged whistleblower, sending supposedly classified information to WikiLeaks that revealed government and military crimes, gross incompetence and corruption. But why aren’t those government and military officials who have committed those crimes and are grossly incompetent and corrupt being charged with their crimes? Who exactly is aiding the enemy, when our government’s own policies and debt-ridden expansionist bureaucracy is taking down America, down the road to total ruin, which indeed helps the enemy (whoever that enemy might be)? The reason the military bureaucrats are persecuting Bradley Manning is because their loyalty is to the government, not to America.
*There are rumors that Ron Paul might get a VP spot on a Romney ticket. I think I know enough about Ron Paul to believe that he would not accept that. Being Romney’s co-conspirator means that you are supporting the policies on which Romney is running for President in November. If Ron Paul doesn’t get the nomination, he should run as a third party candidate. There are also rumors that Rand Paul might take a VP spot on a Romney ticket, and I believe he probably would accept it. Rand is not as principled as Ron Paul. In fact, most recently, Rand Paul voted for sanctions against Iran. If he doesn’t know that sanctions are an act of war, and that they only do harm to the civilian population and not to the government, then, in my opinion he is clueless. Also, if rumor is true that Ron Paul is being less harsh on Romney in his criticisms because he hopes that would help further Rand’s political future, then shame on him! (I hope that’s not the case.)
