Mac Slavo at SHTF Plan has this post regarding cyber attacks to target physical infrastructure, commerce, and transportation systems. It sounds like it would be a total catastrophe. But, from this 2002 Washington Monthly article and this 2009 Popular Mechanics article, one gets the impression that it shouldn’t be the total disaster that it sounds like it could be or that our government fear-mongers make it out to be, if something actually happens.
