Windows 7

I can’t wait for the new Micro$oft operating system Windows 7 to be commercially available, later this Fall. I still have XP and Service Pack 2 and I don’t want Service Pack 3, given some of the problems some people have had with it (although others have said it works just fine). THERE WAS NEVER ANY POSSIBILITY OF MY GETTING VISTA, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

Many of the reviews online of Windows 7 Beta and Release Candidate are positive. Supposedly it takes up less space and memory and isn’t a big drain on the computer, and is more “efficient,” to use Bill Gates’s term. I think I’ll stick with my computer and just get new hard drive and install Windows 7 with CD. That’s probably the more affordable way to go, as is sticking with Windows and not getting a Mac (I can’t believe the prices on new Apple computers!)
